A new survey shows that the business industry is starting to embrace the iPad. According to it, 28 percent of the new running iPad devices come from large business companies in North America.
This information was released by Good Technology based on the number of mobile apps activations for the Apple gadget. Currently, 28 percent of new product activations belong to the North American businesses.
40 percent goes for the iPhone while 32 percent goes to Android devices, particularly the Samsung Galaxy tab that tops among the list of the 20 most popular devices.
The survey also shows that proliferation of the use of the iDevice in the workplace is due to the promotion of the firms, knowing they can remotely monitor their employees through the iPad.
The Apple device is also a popular device so the company won’t need to spend money on buying tablets to each employee, since the employees will be spending their own money on the Apple product.
According to John Herrema, the executive VP for strategy at Good, the popularity of the product usage in business firms grows because of its desirable tablet features like intranet access and document access between the employers and employees.
The iPad’s long battery life also beats the traditional laptop as well as the large screen size that works perfectly for document editing.
Moreover, survey shows that financial services are the strongest iDevice adopters with 40 percent, followed by legal industry with 15 percent, and health care industry with 18 percent.
