Songs by Grammy 2011 Winners to Listen to on Your iPad

18 Feb 2011 | iPad Music |

The new Friday is here, and it’s time for iPad music. The biggest event of this week was Grammy Awards 2011. Thus this weekend we suggest you to listen to the songs by the winners.

In case you have missed the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, we’ll mention the brightest and most impressive moments of it.

Fashion fans will remember Rihanna’s pure see-through dress. But let’s start with the beginning. The first surprise was Lady Gaga’s emerge on the red carpet inside a huge egg. Maybe she was trying to imitate Madonna. Who knows?

The brightest, or let’s say, the most colorful performance of the evening can be awarded to Cee Lo Green who found the strangest outfit for the party. But as Cee Lo was supported on stage by Gwyneth Paltrow who actually… was singing, this part of the show was very memorable.

We’ll quickly mention some of the winners in categories rather than songs of the year, and then provide you a list of the winner records that you can find on the iTunes and download on your iPad or computer.

Arcade Fire‘s The Suburbs was awarded Album of the Year even though it had to compete with Eminem, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga‘s The Fame Monster has become the Best Pop Vocal Album.

La Roux by La Roux was named the Best Electronic/Dance Album.

Muse‘s The Resistance is the Best Rock Album.

Brothers by The Black Keys is the Best Alternative Music Album.

Usher‘s Raymond V Raymond won in the category The Best Contemporary R&B Album.

Eminem‘s Recovery, as you might have guessed, won as the Best Rap Album.

Need You Now by Lady Antebellum (Ladies seem to be popular nowadays) is named the Best Country Album.

Alejandro Sanz‘ Paraiso Express won in the category The Best Latin Pop Album.
