Every now and the iPad cases surface like mushrooms on a rotten log. However, only few of them meet the expectation of the consumers not to mention how they work for the iPad.
Here comes Portenzo Notebook Style iPad Case that will try its luck in the market of Apple’s tablet cases. What this accessory can offer is what I am going to discuss with you.
If you’re familiar with the Dodocase then there’s no need for a long introduction of Portenzo. Both iPad cases have similar materials, appearance, and performance for your tablet.
The Portenzo case has a Moleskine-style exterior and elastic band that keeps it close. The catch of this iPad accessory is its interior design. It includes a bamboo frame that will serve as a safe haven for your iPad. It’s also made of strong materials that will surely wrap your tablet with care.
Compared to the Dodocase, the edges of the Portenzo case are much defined and polished. However, the Dodocase has a more soft touch when it comes to its interior: you would probably go with it in this aspect.
The advantage of this accessory is its bamboo frame that is sure to hold your iDevice inside.
Portenzo also uses rubber-toothed corner pieces that will securely hold your tablet compared to Dodocase’s foam stickers that surrounds its corners. You will also notice the smoothness of the bamboo frame on the Portenzo case.
The new released Portenzo case is now designed for easy typing unlike the first released models. The earlier released models have flat back making it a hindrance when you want to hold your tablet PC in a typing position.
The Portenzo is a good case, but not exactly the perfect one. It does not include a stand that is very useful when you type on the iDevice. You may use the case to let your iPad stand for your viewing angle if you want to watch a movie since its surface is non-slippery. You can’t expect something from this case if typing on your tablet is your thing.
Portenzo is currently available for $60.00 for its Retro Edition and $70.00 for its Wingtip style. You can also customize the case for an additional expense of $15, which includes embossing of your name or addition of some texts at the front of the case. You can have stylus pen-holder added for an additional price of $15.
In my opinion, the Portenzo is good for your tablet, but it’s not something you should get if you need $60.00 for more important things.
