His name is Kord Campbell. And according to The New York Times, he is hooked on different gadgets including the iPad. By the way, he is sooo hooked on electronic devices that a few years ago he managed to overlook one important email in his box from a company who wished to purchase his Internet start-up.

He actually managed to rescue that a million deal as he apologized to the suitor for the overflow of data. But even today the digital world where Mr. Campbell lives makes him forget about his plans for the day. No wonder he has problem focusing on his family.

It’s like his brain on computers all the time. And scientists believe that emails and a lot of incoming info changes the way people think and behave. It becomes difficult for gadget lovers to focus on things as there are million of gadget fans like Mr. Campbell.

Scientists believe that modern technologies are rewiring human brains. Of course, the usage of technology also has benefits. For example, Internet users learn how to professionally find any information on web and some gamers develop good visual insight.

Today people like Kord Campbell consume 3 times as much everyday data as they did in 1960s. Internet users can change their windows and other programs over 30 times an hour, according to a new research.

But Mr. Campbell being 43 years old is a heavier gadgets’ user than most of us. If such trends go on, soon we’ll have many Campbell families all across the world.

Can you imagine yourself going to sleep with a laptop or an iPad on your chest? Can you go online as soon as you wake up? Do you want your children to watch movies in the corner of your screen while you are using the rest of the computer?

This is something we all should think about with so many cool gadgets in the market. If you want to count every second you are offline, then go ahead and connect your life with electronic devices. If not, try to do some other activities and not just play games and work on your iPad or computer from dawn till the sunset.
