If you have tried different stands for your iPad, but you feel that your hunger for contentment has not been satisfied, maybe the PadFoot from independent Dutch designer Michiel Cornelissen is what you’ve been looking for.
You might say this iPad stand is just similar with the basic stands that are currently available in the market, but wait till you get your hands on it.
If you’re too conscious with the color of your iPad stand, PadFoot is available in Black, White, Green and Red, so that you know.
What’s making the PadFoot unique is its light weight and great support for your device. It’s made out of Polyamide so holding it feels like you are holding rigid foam. It has a soft texture for that additional clean feel.
Since it is light and small, it is also portable. This iPad accessories is perfect when you travel since it can fit into a small space of your gear bag. The stand is hollow with a thin lattice base.
The PadFoot is also created using a different technology rather than using the common process used by other iPad stand providers. Other iPad stands are molded, but the PadFoot is printed using the process known as 3D printing.
3D printing creates a product by laying down many and successive layers of material.
Using the PadFoot on your iPad is too easy: slide the bottom of your iPad into the slot and that’s it. You can already view your iPad at an angle perfect for viewing photos and videos. Just make sure you put the stand on a flat and stable surface.
The downside of this PadFood is that you can’t adjust it for the angle of your viewing. You will be the one to adjust your position since it’s not adjustable, but it works well with horizontal and vertical preference. It works perfectly for landscape viewing like you are using a laptop.
The PadFoot is not only different in how it’s manufactured. It’s also different in price: higher than the cost of other iPad stands. You can purchase its white stand for $25 and $33.66 if you want to go for red or green.
This is because manufacturing the PadFoot uses 3D printing that is not cheap, and the manufacturer is not a big company.
However, if you want something different for your iPad stand without caring on how much you spend, try your luck with the PadFoot.
