It has been confirmed that the prodigies who are behind OpeniBoot based Bootlace which allows using Android on iPhone 3G, is currently working to bring the amazing feature to the tablet iDevice (hoping it will be on the iPad 2)  and  iPhone 4.

For easy understanding, OpeniBoot is an open source implementation of iBoot bootloader  for iOS running Apple devices. It allows the use of unsupported codes Linux kernels on the Apple device.  OpeniBoot is currently the only known key that can open the possibility of running Linux based operating systems on the phone like the Android.

OpeniBoot (Bootlace 2.1 ) was first released for older Apple iOS devices: 1st-gen iPod touch, iPhone 3G, and 2G and it gained success since there were no reported problems with running Android on those devices. Users of 1st-gen iPod touch, iPhone 3G, and 2G currently taking advantage of this brilliant discovery. Before installing OpeniBoot you have to jailbreak iPad with Redsn0w, Greenpois0n or PwnageTool jailbreak software.
