Have you ever asked yourself if you are able to share books between two devices, the iPad and Kindle e-book reader? This question bothers a lot of people who are only thinking about getting an iPad but already have a Kindle device.
Reasons to Love E-books
Maybe you are interested to know why many of us love digital books so much.
First of all, there are a lot of free classic books to download, so you don’t need to pay each time you wish to read Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Conan Doyle or Dickens. Secondly, you can get hundreds of contemporary books and store them on one little device. There is no need to pack a full suit of books when you travel to another city or country or go on a vacation in the summertime.
Besides, there are millions of people who love to read, especially with an e-book reader.
Owning Two Devices
Why would anyone wish to have two readers at once? I’ll explain. For example, your mother just like you cannot live a day without reading a page or two of her favorite author of detective stories. You will no longer be able to read books after her, as she just will not part with your Kindle e-reader.
In this situation, it’s easier to get a second device, for example, an iPad.
Book Reading Applications
Luckily, there are a lot of apps that make book reading easy and fun. I don’t speak about iBooks application. I mean another free app called Kindle. It is great for people who have Kindle library, as you can access your library from any device that runs Kindle application.
Actually, a lot of gadgets can share the books registered to one account (we are speaking about Kindle Amazon account right now). Some of them are limited to no more than 5-7 gadgets or are not able to simultaneously read more than one book.
As far as I know, Android tablet computers, personal computers, Macs and all iOS devices allow you reading books you purchase through Kindle reader application.
Once you bought an iPad, you can easily access the books you have purchased or downloaded through Kindle. Just download this free application on your iOS tablet computer, run it and log in using your Amazon login name and password.
The app will automatically sync with your existing account and let you read the books you’ve got.
Books Downloading
There are a lot of ways to download free books in digital format to read on iPad, Kindle e-reader and other devices.
You can use free iBooks app on the iPad. Its library is rich on free literature, both classic and contemporary.
You can get free Kindle application for various devices. It also offers many free titles, both bestsellers of previous years and old times and books by new promising authors of our days.
I hope that you enjoy reading as much as I do. Books are the source of wisdom, and digital books are the free source of wisdom that we should take full advantage off.
