iPads Will Be Overtaken By Android Tablets in 30 Months, Says NVIDIA CEO

Jen – Hsun Huang, NVIDIA Chief executive officer, made a prediction that in the future the Android tablet market, which is not far away from that of the smartphone market within the last couple of years, will overtake Apple’s iPad in the share of the market during the next two years.
If you don’t remember, simply exactly the same story happened in the smartphone market, with Android surpassing iOS during the last several years. The thing that makes it complicated is the great discrepancy between the wide variety of devices every platform sustains. Android operates on a great number of devices from different producers, while Apple’s iOS only operates on the iPhone. The tablet market has the very same discrepancy.
Besides that, Jen – Hsun Huang took the chance to declare that NVIDIA’s future quad-core Tegra processor, that has a code name – Kal-El, has at a minimum 10 design victories, and has guaranteed works with 5 top phone companies, and 5 top Personal computer makers.
No one knows there what might happen in the market, which is so rapidly evolving and competitive, however it would not be very shocking to find out Android engage in its old start-slow, rise-forward strategy. This June Apple is ready for introduction of the most up-to-date version of iOS in at WWDC, and in the 4 quarter of 2011 Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is about to come out.
Quite possibly, the moment when the most current versions of these dueling systems see sun light, we’ll have a lot better understanding of what things can be found in the tablet marketplace. Until then, you will just need to choose if you should take NVIDIA Chief executive officer’s word for it.
