Have you ever wondered what iPad songs get into top charts? This was the question I asked myself after reading Forbes ranking of the world’s top-earning musicians and bands of 2010.

I suggest we’ll add bands’ songs to this list, the ones that can be found on the iTunes. Let’s compare if the bands and musicians who earned the largest salaries in the world this year could reach the top place in the hearts of iTunes listeners.

1. U2, $130 million

Their songs and albums are not currently presented in the iTunes Top 200 rankings.

2. AC/DC, $114 million

Their songs and albums are not currently presented in the iTunes Top 200 rankings.

3. Beyonce, $87 million

Telephone (together with Lady GaGa) is 68th on the iTunes

4. Bruce Springsteen, $70 million

His songs and albums are not currently presented in the iTunes Top 200 rankings.

5. Britney Spears, $64 million

Her songs and albums are not currently presented in the iTunes Top 200 rankings.

6. Jay Z, $63 million

Run This Town (together with Rihanna & E.S. Posthumus) is 82nd on the iTunes

7. Lady Gaga, $62 million

Alejandro is 27th on the iTunes

8. Madonna, $58 million

9. Kenny Chesney, $50 million

His songs are not currently presented in the iTunes Top 200 ranking.

Greatest Hits II album is 180th in the top album list.

10. The Black Eyed Peas, $48 million
