iPad Game Angry Birds is Now a Movie

If you’re one of those people who got addicted to playing Angry Birds on your iPad, we have great news for you.

Rovio Mobile is now planning to make this game a movie. The company has recently released a short animation about its characters, and the video has already been downloaded five million times on YouTube.

For those who are not familiar with the game yet here’s a backgrounder. Angry Birds is a game that involves slingshotting various different types of birds with different capabilities. One bird can drop a bomb for an instance.

You need to drop bombs to kill the pigs, making sure that the structures below will not be destroyed. The puzzles of the game are challenging and fun.

Angry Birds is basically taking revenge on the pigs that stole their eggs. The game has already sold 6.5 million paid downloads for $0.99 each. The limited free version of the game got 11 million downloads while the iPad version has sold 200,000 for $4.99 each.

Making a movie out of the iPad game can take much time, but it will be worth waiting for it. Seeing the game on the big screen will be great.
