If you’ve been dreaming about a clearer HTML 5 interface for your iPad, Gmail gives you this possibility! Constantly developing, Google gives a new tweak to your iPad Gmail UI. It offers an interface of stacked cards, so you can easily manage multiple conversations.
Recently there have been many talks about Chrome OS tablet. Is it really hinting at a new design from Google? Let’s check it together with Googleplex as we did spot some Easter eggs.
Google claims it has developed the iPad app appearance because of many comments from users. According to the Google Mobile Blog, previously it was strange to perform actions on chosen conversations as there were 2 similar toolbars on the screen, that’s why many users used the wrong toolbar by mistake. Quite confusing, right? Sure!
The new iPad UI can easily solve the problem as it treats each conversation you choose as a separate index card tossed onto a stack. It is a great solution for more convenient usage of Gmail for iPad.
It is said that Google Chrome OS tablet is ready for launching, so we can speculate on some of its giant’s design plans for its OS. Microsoft Courier also used similar stacked items for some parts of its UI which we really appreciated.
