iPad 3G is Sold Out a Week Ahead of Its International Launch

All iPads 3G are completely sold out at Apple stores across the United States of America, as AppleInsider report says. And the official international launch of this tablet is coming on Friday, May 28.

50 retails stores were contacted by analyst Gene Munster’s team. The result was shocking, as 74% of Apple stores were sold out of all iPad’s models. The iPad 3G were sold out completely. This happens to the iPad 3G since its first U.S. release on April 30.

Apple stores offer their customers the new opportunity. Everybody who wishes to own the iPad can now be placed on a Notify Me waiting list. This allows people to receive the iPad in 4-7 days after in-store reservation.

According to Munster, iPad supply is expected to constraint to last through June, reaching balance in September.

This Friday the iPad will be finally introduced to 9 countries: Germany, Australia, the UK, Switzerland, Japan, Italy, Spain, Canada and France. In July a popular tablet will be launched in 9 more countries: Belgium, Mexico, Austria, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, New Zealand, Ireland and Luxembourg.
