As Apple Worldwide Developers Conference is fast approaching, rumors about the features iOS 5 will bring are also going viral like the speed of a bullet, of which Twitter Photo Uploading feature in the coming Apple’s OS is one of the hottest topics.
AWDC is expected to bring highlights of iOS 5, Apple’s iCloud service, and OS X Lion, but most users are probably jumping with excitement for the confirmation of the inclusion of twitter Photo Uploading in iOS 5.
Twitter is expected to host its own photo service like yFrog and TwitPic. The analysis, is that Twitter will be seeking for a third-party partner for the realization of its twitter Photo Uploading feature. Uploading photos through social networking is what’s currently in and hot.
To add icing to the cake, an article from TechCrunch stated that Apple will be Twitter’s main partner, which is expected to include the photo uploading service. Details of the information said that Twitter photo uploading system will be integrated with Apple’s OS 5, letting the users experience the convenience of uploading and sharing photos within the Photos.app. The feature will work similar with e-mailing photos to MobileMe.
We’ve heard from multiple sources that Twitter is likely to have a big-time partner for such a service: Apple. Specifically, we’re hearing that new OS 5 will come with an option to share images to twitter baked into the OS. This would be similar to the way you can currently share videos on YouTube with one click in Apple’s operating system. Obviously, a user would have to enable this feature by logging in with their Twitter credentials in OS. There would then be a Send to Twitter option for pictures stored on your device, the article stated.
Facebook integration that has been rumored for years is also expected to be carried with iOS 5.
Though being able to upload photos direct from your twitter streams within the Photos app is exciting enough, there is more that iOS users need to be excited about. That is syncing contacts from your Twitter account with an integration of the service in an OS level, calling it a system-level of service.
