Hulu Subscription Plans for iPad

The latest rumor that comes from Reuters News Agency that is capturing the attention of everybody is highlighting that Hulu on iPad is going to start its subscription plan for iPad users.

The two secret sources of this agency claimed that Hulu is mapping out a subscription service plan that will be applicable on multiple devices from next month or later. Mainly this subscription plan of Hulu is for Mircosoft’s Xbox 360 and Apple iPad.

Hulu will offer free access to new episodes of various shows such as Glee but if the user wants to watch old programs and episodes then it is only possible via paid membership.

Everyone will be interested to know what the Hulu will do with its full length movies. Another question to the answer which is very important, what the affect of this paid account on advertiser will be. Will they eliminate embedded advertisement or not?

The subscription plan of Hulu will be considered as a new cost element for the ad men as other cable companies are offering expensive packages. In this situation ad men can do only to fight with this plan, to compete well with internet surfing and to reduce this emerging cost, offer on demand shows and movies. While HBO is going to introduce their videos and movies streaming services.

There are some interesting questions, what will be the reaction of consumers towards this plan? Whether they would like to pay for it or not?

One analyst told Reuters that the consumers are already paying $100 or more for their monthly TV, telephone , Internet etc so they will never warmly welcome this unexpected and additional fee for watching programs and new episodes of shows that can been seen easily via internet. But some consumers are ready to pay this premium fee of Hulu because there will not be a very large amount for them.

The important thing to consider in this news is that this rumor of subscription plan comes from two unnamed sources. We never forget about the case of Wall street Journal that announced a news about Verizon iPhone, getting it from two unnamed sources and that new was completely wrong therefore we must ready for anything. Moreover, it is supposed this paid subscription plan was announced for last month not for next month. According to this rumor, it seems that Hulu is planning to snatch a small sum of money from wallet.
