Some people prefer using Facebook application in order to sync their iPhone address book. However, others like Twitter more. So if you enjoy using Twitter, you can easily sync your iOS gadget contacts with it to add profile pictures and usernames to your address book.

Anyway, if you are a fan of Twitter and your device is running iOS 5, you can follow this short guide and sync your phone with Twitter.

The syncing process is simplified due to iOS 5’s Twitter integration. So it won’t take you much time or efforts.

Syncing iPhone Contacts with Twitter

Step #1

Take your gadget. Launch the Settings application.

Step #2

Do you see the Twitter tab? Tap on it.

Step #3

Make sure you are logged in. Otherwise you won’t be able to sync your contacts.

In case you do not have Twitter account set up, sing in. Just enter your name and password and press “Sign In.”

Step #4

You are almost finished. Press the “Update Contacts” button, and your Twitter profile photos along with usernames will be synced to your iPhone address book.

Congratulations! As soon as the sync is complete, you can enjoy what you have now. Your contacts have profile photos, and they are linked to Twitter profiles. Any time you tap on them, your Twitter application will be launched.
