Are you new to the Apple iPadworld? Here are basic tips on how to save photos to your iPad from the e-mail you received. You can also use photos on the web for your iPad. These tips can be very useful for you.

It’s very easy to utilize photos from e-mails or from the websites to your iPad, but without the knowledge on how to do it makes it very challenging for you. Here are simple tips on how to do it:

To Save an Image in an email, within the iPad’s Mail Application

Open the e-mail with the photo that you want to save in your iPad. Tap and hold the image in the e-mail and wait for a dialogue box to appear. The box will have two options: Save Image and Copy. If you will  use the Save Image option, the image will be placed into the Saved Photos album in the Photos app. The Copy Image option will place the photo in the iPad’s clipboard making it available for transfer anywhere you want (in a new mail or a word processing app). You can transfer the image by pasting.

Saving an Image on a Web Page in the iPad Safari Application

It starts with the usual tapping of the picture. It’s similar to the steps mentioned above. A dialogue box will appear, but this time with four choices. The first two options are Open and Open in New Page. These relate to the web page. The next two choices, Save Image and Copy which are actually the same with the mail application, will give you the same result.
