After buying a new iPadyou can feel that the battery life of your gadget is draining out too fast. This can really be an issue if you have gone for a long drive for some outing or attending some whole night celebrations.
Though Apple claims its iPad can run smoothly for as long as 10 hours, you can still face problems. You simply cannot use your device judiciously.
If you follow these 3 simple steps, you can save your iPad battery lifeto a great extent.
1. You can turn off your power sapping functionality
You must shut off the Bluetoothand Wi-Fi option when you do not need them. The user can go to the settings and switch off the Wi-Fi option as otherwise the hi-tech option will always try to find out connection every five seconds. If you are reading a novel on the new gadget, you do not need a Wi-Fi connection. The next option is shutting of the location services as you are not expected to do geo-caching all the time.
If you still want to get notified of your incoming emailsand tweets, you can set your server to make an alert to your iPad whenever any email or tweet arrives in your inbox. You can make the settings in such a way that the battery will get consumed only when you log on to check your email.
2. Perform less strenuous activities
If at a distant place, you find that your battery is running low, you must avoid playing games like Plants vs Zombies marathon as they take away your battery life to a great extent. Any 3D graphics and the ones which move constantly take away a lot of battery life. If you want to spend your leisure time, you can read an iBook or listen to some very good music as in that case, the screen will be turned off and a lot of battery life can be saved in the process.
3. Change your brightness settings
The screen of the iPad is a high resolution one with a glossy finish and multi-touch facilities. So, if you keep it in full brightness option, then the battery will get drained out quite fast. If the user can keep the brightness of the screen in a low mode, then the battery life is expected to run for much longer hours.
