iPad Spirit Jailbreak for Windows
This is a detailed tutorial on how you can perform an untethered jailbreak of your iPad with Spirit for Windows.
In order to successfully finish this iPad jailbreak process, you need to use an activated device that is not trapped on the Emergency Call screen or Connect to iTunes.
You can use any version of iTunes (from 9 to 9.1.1)
Step # 1
You need to download Spirit following this link and save the zip file to your desktop.
Step # 2
Launch the Spirit app by double clicking it.
*Attention: In case you use Windows 7 you probably should run Spirit in compatibility mode for Windows 98. To do so, right click Spirit.exe and choose Properties from the menu. When you see the Compatibility tab press Windows 98. Press Apply and then Ok.
Step # 3
Connect the iPad to your PC and click Jailbreak.
Step # 4
Now the Spirit application will make everything for you letting you know when the jailbreak process is complete.
Let your device reboot. When this is done, the iPad will be jailbroken. You’ll have Cydia installed on it.
