How to Jailbreak iPad with Spirit (Mac)

Here comes a detailed instruction on how you can perform an untethered jailbreak of your iPad with Spirit for Mac OS X users.

In order to successfully finish this iPad jailbreak process, you need to use an activated device that is not trapped on the Emergency Call screen or Connect to iTunes.

You can use any version of iTunes (from 9 to 9.1.1).

Step # 1

First, download Spirit following this link and save the zip file to your desktop.

Step # 2

Extract the Spirit.app.zip file by double clicking it.

Step # 3

Launch the Spirit app by double clicking it.

Step # 4

Connect the iPad to your Mac and click Jailbreak.

Step # 5

Now the Spirit application will make everything for you letting you know when the jailbreak process is complete.

Let your device reboot. When this is done, the iPad will be jailbroken. You’ll have Cydia installed on it.
