Baking with Dorie iPad cookbook

2. Baking with Dorie is not just an ordinary cookbook. This $7.99 app is huge. It includes lessons on how to bake and over 100 HD videos with Dorie Greenspan so it will take some time to download.

Dorie isAmerica’s baker who was called “a culinary guru” by the New York Times. Her app is a fun baking course with step by step instructions from your best friend in the kitchen. She shares a lot of secrets she has learned from some of the best chefs in the world.

Videos are part of this top-quality cookbook. There is a video carousel that allows you skipping steps that you already know. There is not need for Internet connection when you watch videos as they are included in the iPad application.

Baking with Dorie will teach you how to bake like a pro if you are patient to download this 1.79 GB cooking app that requires iOS 4.0 or later.

Jamie’s Recipes iPad cookbook

3. Jamie’s Recipes is absolutely free to download. However its content packs should be paid for. Some people think it’s cheaper to purchase a copy of this cookbook at a bookstore. Some people agree to spend additional $10 on extra recipes while others simply enjoy the free version with 10 free recipes and 3 videos.

Jamie’s recipes include photos and a shopping list that makes it easy to shop for ingredients as you can cross off those items you’ve already bought.

The app is available in English and German. To run it, your iPad has to have iOS 4.3 or later.
