It may be tempting to the iPad users to do the same on their iPads, but the procedure is too costly. It requires an iPad which costs $629 or more for the Verizon MiFi to connect with the iPad’s 3G components. It will be smart to buy Wi-Fi iPad to use with a MiFi, but this hack offers one irresistible feature: a switch.

The switch which costs $2 will be placed in the iPad’s Micro SIM slot, giving the user the capability to turn off the the Mifi at a touch of a switch.

After all the soldering, wiring, warranty and effort, the iPad will have a download speed of 1.1 megabits per second, something that gadget addicts can hardly to resist.

If you think that all of those are worth the amount, time and effort spent, you can go ahead and improvise your iPad.
