It may so happen that a home user may still prefer a desktop in the long run. On the other hand, a corporate executive, who is always on the go, may prefer a mobile computer and go for an iPad as he will get all the features of a computer in his hand.

Though small screens and tiny typing interfaces are the biggest obstruction to mobile computing, scientists are telling that a day will come when they eliminate the mouse and the computer keyboard.

Since the price of all the technical gadgets including the desktop, iPad and laptop is decreasing it may so happen that a particular person may think of having more than one gadget. Though people say that younger generation are more inclined to social networking through Facebook, they prefer to use tablet computers more.
