Dev Team Releases CLI Jailbreak for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S

The Dev Team has just introduced its innovative CLI jailbreak that has come out with support for both iPhone 4S and iPad 2. However, it is like Absinthe jailbreak obtainable for Mac and Windows users only. It isn’t as simple as you may have thought it would have been by just clicking on one button and then your iPad 2 or iPhone 4S would be jailbroken.

This new CLI Jailbreak Tool will allow users to go through the Jailbreaking process from start to end by typing in commands through terminal. The reason someone would want to go to the trouble of using CLI over the GUI (graphical user interface) counterpart Absinthe. Is because the CLI Jailbreak tool will allow you to debug your Jailbreak to help find out why you are having errors Jailbreaking A5 processor.

At the point of release; the Mac OS X version was the only tool which had been packaged ready for distribution which left Windows users high and dry. Fortunately, the iPhone Dev Team had also produced a powerful Command Line Interface tool which was primarily designed to assist users with debugging and troubleshooting, but can also be used to perform the full jailbreak process.

The CLI Jailbreak iPad 2 tool has been launched for the Windows operating system, and needs interaction from a command prompt.

Before you begin CLI Jailbreak iPad 2 or CLI Jailbreak iPhone 4S, it is good house keeping to make a complete back-up of your device which can be restored from in case of any problems occurring. No troubles are predicted, but the difficulties of using a command line tool should be considered seriously.
