BT Allows Free Wi-Fi Access to English iPad Users

BT broadband has announced that it will offer free Wi-Fi access to Apple’s device users in all Wi-Fi hotspots in England.
This gives the BT customers easy access to the internet when they are traveling, without having to pay extra money for the internet connection on their iDevice.
The company has recently released a statement confirming that is has opened 2 million Wi-Fi hotspots for iPad in the UK, making it the largest broadband provider in the continent.
According to John Petter, who is the Managing Director at BT Retail Consumer, the company has seen the success of the free apps offered to Android devices and the iPhone, so it took the next step of making the service available to the iPad.
“The app makes accessing Wi-Fi so simple you don’t even have to think about it and represents real value to our customers at a time when more and more people are accessing the internet when they are on the move,” Peter said.
International Data Corporation revealed figures Friday, showing that the popularity of tablet devices in the market is growing at a rapid rate. According to that information, of the 45% increase of tablet devices, amazingly the iPad took 90% of it.
