Best iPad Apps for College Students

Student years are great: youth, fun, college, true love and iPad! There are so many iPad applications that can make studies easier and not so boring at times  choose the one you like and have a good time with your friends and fellow-students.

The iPads House writing team has selected five items which are considered to be must-haves for every college student to say nothing of the tablet itself, of course.

1. Rate My Professors: This thing is absolutely fantastic! If you are in two minds about what class to choose and wouldn’t like to finally meet a difficult professor  get this app and check them all! There previews left by those students who have already taken these classes and known the teachers. There are over 10 million comments about more than 1 million professors. Leave a comment yourself to get even with an especially bad type or highly praise the one which was born to teach.

2. Flash My Brain: Flash My Brain is good for studying on the go  text and photo flashcards you can create and share work with Latin, Cyrillic, and Asian scripts. Taking photos and adding music to the cards is another great option here. There are more than 100,000 flashcards already made and available at the Flash My Brain online library. The keyboard can be tall or wide to make cards faster and have a learning style of your own.

3. The Elements: The periodic table you have never seen before is now on your iPad – science students will appreciate it immediately. There is a large picture for every element and it is displayed in a most detailed way with all imaginable properties mentioned. But beautiful pictures are not the only thing to grab your attention the book itself will be mostly useful during chem classes.

4. iBooks: You do not have to carry books unless you work out and are concerned with your muscles  just download them and read with this nice app. Your library will look like a beautiful bookshelf and you will have an opportunity to add bookmarks or notes where ever you prefer. It is a perfect thing for a student no visiting college library, no returning books, and no rules about using them.

5. Dictionary.com: This is the dictionary you need – 1,000,000 words and definitions and 90,000 synonyms and antonyms will be enough even for a philologist. Its advantage is that it does not require Internet connection. There are audio pronunciations, words spelled similarly and Word of the Day from Dictionary.com.
