It seems that Foxconn is in trouble again. This time it’s Foxconn servers. Not only this factory, known to work with Apple, Microsoft and other giant American technology companies, pays such miserable salaries to its workers that they end their lives with suicides. It also can’t protect its servers against hackers’ attacks.

Reportedly, the company’s servers were hacked. Thus the usernames and passwords of its employees and vendors were exposed to public.

Who hacked the servers? The group SwaggSec said they did it.

Why? According to SwaggSec, they did it not because of the bad working conditions and not to get new information about the next iPhone 5. No. They claim they hacked Foxconn servers “for the enjoyment” of this process.

Hackers just want to show public and security experts how many leaks exist.

They say Foxconn servers were protected by a suitable firewall even though hackers bypassed this protection nearly flawlessly.

Hackers used various techniques. They said they spent a couple of days to expose usernames and passwords.

Of course, all the Foxconn servers were disabled by in time to make all the logins unavailable for public.

These logins were dangerous to reveals, but some individuals could have used them to order something from Foxconn under the account of Microsoft, IBM, Intel, Apple or other company.

Some sites assure they verified that the exposed usernames actually worked.

It is believed that Foxconn servers were hacked with an exploit through an unpatched vulnerability (Internet Explorer) from a Foxconn’s employee.
