7 Attractive Styluses For The iPad

12 Dec 2011 | Accessories |

Majority of Apple tablet owners/users are paying too much attention on cases, docks, keyboard, car mounts, and other iPad accessories. Yet, there is one accessory that you can think less, but helps a lot with your daily iTablet bonding. I am talking about styluses that will make some iTablet chores fast and easy. It’s true that your fingers can be the best companion of the Apple tablet, but there are times that you need to put those body parts to rest. I picked 7 attractive styluses for the iPad, that I think will also outshine the rest that are available in the market.

Pogo Stylus

 1.      Ten One Design Pogo Sketch, Ten One Design Pogo Stylus

This stylus is originally released for the iPhone, but I think it perfectly fits with the large screen of the iPad. This is a good accessory when you want to scribble on your screen, and you don’t want to use your finger tips. It has a capacitive foam nib that will flawlessly work when you’re browsing. However, I won’t recommend it if you want to draw or write something since the foam brings a lot of friction on your iTablet screen. It creates unwanted lines and unpolished finish. Both work perfectly for browsing.

JustMobile AluPen

2.      JustMobile AluPen

This one is a combination of art and design. It’s a charcoal stick in a form of an aluminum pencil. The  AluPen will let you do your writing and drawing stuffs  on your iTablet screen easy because of its easy to hold design, and weightlessness. I must say that this stylus can achieve the work of your fingers when you don’t want to use them on your iPad. Its shape and weight is perfect for sketching, and writing, but not really that desirable for basic tasks and navigation.  It comes in black, silver, blue, red, and green.

SGP Kuel H10

3.      SGP Kuel H10

First thing that you’ll notice on the H10 is its tiny size with a length of 3 inches. You can feel the difference when you actually doodle or write something on your Apple tablet. It boosts of its silicon-rubber nib, but it’s actually lesser in diameter- at 6mm. Its small size will outsmart the Pogo Stylus when you need detailed lines on your work.  This one is perfect for drawing, writing, and navigation, but it wears down faster compared to the other styluses because of its thinner nib. The H10 comes in color red, pink, yellow, black, and white.

Wacom Bamboo Stylus

4.      Wacom Bamboo Stylus

The bamboo stylus for the iPad is not only famous for its higher price ($30.00), but how the company perfectly manage to balance its size and weight for the comfort of your hands/fingers. Its body is perfectly proportioned with its slim ballpoint. The result is really obvious; perfect writing, drawing, sketching, and navigating on the iPad. On the other hand, if you’re just in need of something basic for your basic needs, I suggest that you get something cheaper than this one.

Griffin Technology Stylus

5.      Griffin Technology Stylus

This one has an aluminum body that is very comfortable in your hand. It has a good weight and radius, enough for it to be called a desirable stylus for the iPad. It has a length similar to your crayons, making it easier for you to do your basic sketching and writing activity on  the iTablet. Its lightweight however may not be good for virtually taking down notes, unless you have the perfect idea on how to manage it with your hand.

  Kensington Virtuoso Touch Stylus

6.      Kensington Virtuoso Touch Stylus & Pen

This stylus comes with a length of 5 inches making it so much similar to your actual pen. It has a distinctive ballpoint pen cartridge that comes as an addition to the usual capacitive nib. This will perfectly when you want to quickly jot down notes. Its heavy weight makes it easier for you to balance it on an angle comfortable for your hand. The Virtuoso Touch brings first class iPad writing experience, but appeared too bulky for detailed sketching and navigation.

Targus 2-in-1 Stylus

7.      Targus Stylus for Apple iPad

This one comes with a classy black body, silicon-rubber tip, and a silver clip. It has a length of 4.5 inches and a neutral weight. It also has a ballpoint tip like the Targus and the Kensington Virtuoso. The difference is that its tip can easily be replaced. One thing that you might not like about it is its heavier weight. It will strain your hand if you need to write for a longer period of time. On the other hand, the Targus stylus for the iPad will perfectly achieve simple tasks like writing, navigating, and sketching.
